The School of Polish Language ULS AAE
The University of Lower Silesia AAE is the largest non-governmental institution of higher learning in the Polish region of Lower Silesia. The university’s School of Social Sciences and Journalism offers a unique program - the School of Polish Language for foreigners.
The School of Polish Language at the University of Lower Silesia is a modern and dynamic program which offers courses in Polish language for foreigners on all levels of proficiency and includes introduction to basic elements of Polish culture. The courses of Polish language on the elementary, intermediate and advanced levels are adjusted to the varying needs of different students.
The School of Polish Language at the University of Lower Silesia is organized on the principle of a flexible system of teaching, guarantying the highest level of learning efficiency and individual approach to each student.
The School of Polish Language at the ULS offers:
- a one-semester course (4 months, 240 hours),
- a two-semester course (8 months, 480 hours)
- a summer school of Polish language (3 weeks, 110 hours)
- individual courses,
- courses preparing students for the Polish language state exams.
All courses are based on a unique method which combines the teaching of grammar and theory with immediate practical use of Polish language, supplemented by optional seminars presenting various aspects of Polish culture (slides, films, albums, and the meeting with the special guests – the Wroclaw celebrities in art, business, and politics).
The School of Polish Language at ULS guarantees:
- effective and attractive methods of learning and practicing the Polish language,
- interesting seminars in Polish culture,
- thorough analysis of the needs of each student,
- preparation of an individual path of language development,
- regular tests on the progress in learning,
- practical activities supporting learning (shopping, theatre visits, meetings, etc.).
